Adrienne Kelbie

James King
James is currently a member of the Management Board of Glasgow's Metropolitan College. He was previously the Financial Director for the Royal Mail in Scotland and Northern Ireland. He has worked with Glasgow Council and later with Falkirk Council where he held the posts of Chief Internal Auditor then Assistant Finance Director.

William McQueen
William is a former Deputy Chief Executive of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and has extensive experience of central government and its sponsored bodies, having also worked in the Scottish Office and Scottish Executive in a number of policy areas including Transport, Management and Organisation, and delivery of Corporate Services.

Michael Ash
Michael is currently Vice-Chair of Cumbria Partnership National Health Service (NHS) Trust. A former Joint Leader of Cumbria County Council, he has considerable local government experience as both an officer and an elected member. He has worked for Bradford Metropolitan Borough Council and Cumbria Police Authority and was Executive Director of Bradford and District Training and Enterprise Council.

Colonel (retired) Colin Peebles
Colin is a retired public servant with extensive senior managerial experience with both the Ministry of Defence and latterly as a Director of Corporate Services in the Scottish Police Service. There, he was heavily involved in the introduction of Best Value, information management, process improvement within the criminal justice sector, and the establishment of the governance arrangements for joint police boards.

Christine May
Christine has lengthy experience as an elected member in local government, including spells as Leader and Deputy Leader of Fife Council. During that time, she led the transition from District and Regional Councils to the new Unitary Authority, and was involved in devising and implementing the council’s Best Value arrangements. Ms May has also served as an Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP), and previously held Board Member positions with Scottish Homes and Scottish Enterprise. She is currently the Chair of the charity, Scottish Library and Information Council.

Graham Sharp
Graham originally trained as a chartered accountant with Thomson McLintock, (now KPMG) in Glasgow. He possesses a wealth of private sector experience drawn from senior positions in the financial field. He has held a number of roles at Board level, mainly in the City of London where he was on the Board of the leading merchant bank, Samuel Montagu.

Linda Pollock
Linda has considerable experience of senior level roles within the NHS, most recently at Executive Nurse Director level, and has also worked for the Scottish Executive (as was), on secondment from the NHS. She is presently involved with the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission and is an existing Board Member within the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Dr Pollock has also previously served as a Mental Welfare Commissioner for a number of years.

Colin Duncan
Colin is a current board Member of NHS Ayrshire and Arran with experience of its four governance committees. Mr Duncan also has lengthy commercial experience at senior management level with Marks and Spencer plc, and has served as a Community Councillor as well as being active within the voluntary/third sector.
