Summary of previous meeting: The Accounts Commission met on June 19 and considered various items, including the Controller of Audit reports on Moray Community Planning Partnership and Argyll and Bute Council, the How Councils Work series, the progress of councils in relation to public performance reporting, and the outcome of the audit of housing and council tax benefits administration. The Commission also considered its annual report and annual action plan progress report, which will be published on 16 July.
Later, members had a discussion on progress on health and social care integration with the Auditor General, senior officials from Highland Council, NHS Highland and the Scottish Government. The Commission next meets on 25 September. There is no meeting in August because of a moratorium for the independence referendum.
