Year of Young People 2018 – getting involved

Children and young people's mental health report

We’ve just launched our Year of Young People e-hub. It’s a great opportunity for us to celebrate the role of young people within Audit Scotland and the ways in which school age children have helped us raised thousands for our corporate charity.

Linking in with the Scotland-wide Year of Young People, we’re focusing on working better with young people throughout our audits, from planning our audit work to sharing key findings and impact.

And in an exciting new initiative we’re putting in place a Youth Advisory Panel. We’re delighted that Youth Scotland will be working with us to set up the advisory panel, helping young people from across Scotland get involved in helping to shape our work and adding value to it. It will also give those involved in the panel valuable experience and skills.

There’s plenty more about this and our wider work with young people on our e-hub.
