Community planning partnerships

In 2012, we worked with our scrutiny partners and other key stakeholders to develop an audit framework for supporting improved performance and accountability of Community Planning Partnerships (CPPs).

The audit methodology was tested in three early audits carried out in Aberdeen City, Scottish Borders and North Ayrshire. Their audit reports were published in March 2013 along with a national overview report drawing on the common messages from the three reports.

To identify the lessons learned from the early audits, we carried out an independent evaluation of the first three CPP audits (PDF 664Kb) . We published the actions that we proposed to take in response to this report as one of our consultation responses.
