Publication: IJB finance and performance report 2024 - audit scope

Integration Joint Boards (IJBs) are responsible for the strategic planning and commissioning for vital social care and community health services across our communities.

Expanding on our previous IJB financial analysis reports, this piece of work will also assess their performance and the outcomes for service users. In addition, we will set out a ‘spotlight’ focus on the effectiveness of commissioning and procuring arrangements for social care services.

IJBs face significant financial and service demand issues, the report will set out the context of these challenges and how they are being addressed.
