Publication: Paying dividends - Local Healthcare Co-operatives bulletin

by Auditor General

Local Healthcare Co-operatives (LHCCs) are voluntary groupings of general practitioners and primary healthcare professionals, accountable to Primary Healthcare Trusts. There are 79 LHCCs in Scotland, covering all mainland health board areas except West Lothian. The Bulletin presents the results of a joint Audit Scotland and LHCC Best Practice Group survey, which was undertaken in order to obtain baseline information about the management structures, governance and activities of LHCCs to allow future evaluation of their effectiveness.
