Audit Scotland
In 2018, we reported on children and young people’s mental health and made a commitment to further audit work on mental health related issues. This performance audit, for the Auditor General for Scotland and the Accounts Commission, will focus on mental health services for adults in Scotland.
The audit will provide an independent assessment of how well adult mental health and wellbeing services in Scotland are being delivered. We’ll be focusing on progress made since the publication of the 2017-2027 mental health strategy, including consideration of the impacts of Covid-19 across these services.
