Our NHS in Scotland 2021 report will focus on the continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on NHS Services and on progress in remobilising and redesigning NHS services in the wake of the pandemic. We will report on the direct and indirect health impacts of Covid-19, what these mean for NHS services and how they have affected operational performance. After a particularly challenging year we will look at the effectiveness of measures introduced to support the wellbeing of NHS workers. We will examine how the NHS in Scotland managed its workforce during the pandemic and how it plans to do this going forward while addressing leadership challenges. Finally, we will report on the financial performance and management of the NHS in Scotland, including how additional Covid-19 related funding was spent and managed.
